Our team
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Michael Rice has loved the field of optometry from an early age. Following in the footsteps of his father, Donald C. Rice, O.D. After earning his degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry, Dr. Rice began practicing in Duncan in 2019.
In 2025, he and his family opened Rice Family Vision, with the hope of serving their friends and neighbors in Blanchard for generations to come. Dr. Rice, his wife Allison, and their three children are thankful to call Blanchard home and are honored to be part of such a close-knit community.
Faith and family are central to Dr. Rice’s life. He is a born-again believer, an active member of Blanchard First Baptist Church, and a leader in Trail Life USA. When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and spending time with his family and church Connect Group.
